Over the next few days we are going to be doing some upgrading, re-organizing and a bit of site restructuring. Most everything should be occuring in the background, but in some areas you’ll possible come across Odd Things (like, as of this writing, there is asparagus in Lion Next Door, sigh), so don’t worry when you do! We hope to have everything running smoothly and all in the right place in no time. Or little time, anyway. Thanks so much for your patience. Hi scribe! Good to see you, and welcome! Please feel free to post whatever you want in this area - I love your essays -(or, if you have something that is say… specific to human rights or labor issues or a recipe story or something, just let me know and we can put it in the appropriate section. Yes, the restructuring is coming right along… for so long we’ve just been a static magazine, but we’re working to make it more of a community thing, not only with comments added and such, but other ways of participation. I’m not much for political blogging either (although I do like to read the stuff of others).. mostly I’m into um… general humanity issues, or something like that. Anyway, yay! I’m glad you’re here. Hi Nanette! This is my first visit, so I am still stumbling around trying to get my bearings. I sure do like what I see so far and am glad go find another place to post my stuff that truly resonates with where I am coming from now. I am much more of a commentary/essay type writer than a political news type blogger, and am interested in almost everything that has to do with empowering human beings to overcome whatever is in their way.
