As this is a brand new section, I figured I’d post something here in order to break the ice a bit, so it’s not quite so intimidating being “the first”. I do hope others decide to post here as well soon, though!

I’ll start with a brief introduction… my name is Nanette and I live in a household that consists of three old ladies… one of them a cat. Well, maybe I’m not so old, but still ;).

Human Beams started in 1998, with the idea of communicating across nations, cultures, religions and other false barriers, and owes its existence to the excellent and dedicated work of different volunteers over the years, who have had the same vision. The names and faces may change, due to the constraints of time and jobs and so on, but the vision remains the same.

We have plans for expanding over the next year, putting out a small print edition, updating and adding new areas and much more besides, all on no budget at all (heh). As usual, it will be challenging and exciting and will hopefully take us further in reaching our goal of saving the world ;).
