Raining on the Parade

Barack Obama has chosen Joe Biden as his running mate. Apparently, the “change we can believe in” involves more old white guys in government.
So, what’s wrong with Joe Biden anyway?
Well, for starters, in his role as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Biden suppressed the testimony of Angela Wright, Rose Jourdain, and Sukari Hardnett, three women who corroborated Anita Hill’s accusations of sexual harassment by Clarence Thomas.. Without their testimony, it was he said/she said. With it, it was she said/he’s a lying sack of crap.
Second, Biden supported an abomination dubbed the “R. A. V. E. Act”, another attack on youth culture in the threadbare cloak of the War on Drugs that Don’t Sponsor Football Telecasts.
And finally, Biden shepherded an abomination of a bill that drastically weakened the average Americans ability to protect themselves from crippling debt. People who used to be able to declare bankruptcy after crippling medical debt put them in a horrible bind are now vulnerable, thanks to Joe Biden.
Funny how change seems to look a lot like the status quo when you take a closer look.
