Culture Warrior

Some people who make their living with words ought to choose their words a little more carefully. Bill O’Reilly’s justification for demonizing those he disagrees with is the “culture war”.
What happens in war?
People take up arms. People die.
O’Reilly throws a tantrum five nights a week over what he perceives as the unpatriotic nature of liberals. He accuses film studios of making propaganda that exists solely to “humanize homosexuals”. He writes books that expose the massive liberal plot to destroy religion and the traditional family. There are enemies, he tells them, and you must resist.
Are we really going to act surprised when some idiot takes him seriously?
